What coasts Down must pedal Up first!

The legend of Little Lumpy Charity Sportive continues for another fabulous year, combining a passion for cycling with raising money for Charities local to Haslemere.

The event is organised and run entirely by volunteers, who are committed to offering a warm welcome to every participant to make this one of the best supported sportive events in the country.

Routes for 2026

New for 2026, Little Lumpy is going off road, offering a new Gravel route, called the Trail, in addition to our 3 road routes, the Sport, Challenge and Epic.

We are keen to offer riders of every level the opportunity of cycling around the scenic countryside of Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex, experiencing everything from undulating hills to more challenging climbs of the South Downs.

As in previous years, the Start/Finish for all rides is at the Woolmer Hill Sports and Social Club, with 4 feed stations available across the various routes, offering a brilliant selection of homemade cakes and savouries.

Not only do we welcome all riders, but we also welcome all types of bikes, including e-bikes, tandems, commuter bikes etc. In effect, any bike that is safe and reliable and suitable to complete your chosen route. A full description of each route can be found on their respective pages.

Our Partner Charity

Little Lumpy has been run as an annual event for over 15 years as a not-for-profit event, with monies raised being distributed between Haslemere Festival and an elected partner charity. For 2026 we are very pleased to announce that our partner charity will be The Haslewey Community Centre, which is vital part of the Haslemere community, providing a range of facilities, including a cafe, meeting rooms and a Post Office, and offering multiple daily activities to suit all needs, offering a warm welcome and lots of fun activities for people of all ages to come and enjoy.
